dOG wALK aRT is dedicated to Benjy, our unbelievable family member who took me out for a walk 2 or 3 times a day, showed me things I would not have otherwise seen, inspired me to write poetry, collect and create artistic elements from the environment, think about my history, say silly things I would not have otherwise said, accomplish things I would not have otherwise accomplished, and most importantly connect with family and friends in a meaningful way.
What a life force he was!

Benjy died peacefully on February 19th 2022 at noon at the age of 15 years.

A SHORT STORY – AWKWARD HAWK WALK
Awkward Hawk Walk “Nature is impersonal, awe-inspiring, elegant, eternal. It’s geometrically perfect. It’s tiny and gigantic. You can travel far to be in a beautiful natural setting, or you can observe it in your backyard – or, in my case, in the trees lining New York City sidewalks, or in the clouds above skyscrapers.”
